Was looking for a reasonably priced quality igniter and just ended up building my own.
Dimensions are 7x4x2, but you could easily go smaller.
I used items I had laying around other than the micro panel, which cost around forty dollars shipped.
Very simple to build and using an old NiCad transmitter pack for power.

Plugs are held in with grommets, easy to remove.
Elastics incase an o-ring for cowl breaks, loop over from side to side and off you go.
Glow plug wrench, because it's just 😎 😊

Nice work!

Looks great. I'm also building a glow igniter based on a xl4015 pcb and have added a amp meter on to it. I'm now putting it in a small box. Will power it from my starter box.

It was a bit tight but got it in. Next time will use a bigger box and add a small lipo in there as well.

Looks great
I started out with something very similar, but switched to the mini panel because it shows if the plug is good.
Otherwise it worked great and was cheap!

That’s a nice digital read out can you also use it to tell the differant plugs by how much they draw ?The more amps the thicker the wire and less draw be a thinner wire?Just a thought.

I see theres two trim pots on the Board what do they set?Being it’s a project be nice to incorporate a volt meter for the battery. What voltage are you feeding it?

The one i have only has 1 potmeter, this is to set the output voltage. With the version with 2 potmeters (i think) you can limit the output current.
