gen I and gen II whip

im not a hydro guy so what is the diference between a gen I and gen II whip thanks guys

Gassers were ride surface changes ( recovery pads or lack of ) air trap / stepping spilling air out better and hulls OAL

The gen 1 was a smaller hull shorter and narrow it had a step sponson ride pad.The gen 2 is wider longer and uses a single piece of wood for ride pad on sponson.The Backlash is wider and longer has a shingled ride pad.
