For the last three years I sold a few flow meters for tether car racing.

I found this info will be useful for boaters too.

Dear Boris
My flow meter operates according to my past experience very accurate. The use of charged batteries is important. The duration of a test should be at least 10 to 15 seconds. the needle is maybe not so clean and we blown out.. For me it is a basic value. which I can always go out. Some ask me if they can have my values. But with speed model car, many factors are important to determine the flow rate. I am satisfied with the unit and with the delivery service. Thanks for the good quality.

Best regards Chris Zaugg, Speed model car driver Swiss team.

You can post my answer, but my English is not so good.
I hope you understand my statements.

Best regards Chris

What Christoph posted about flowing the system for at least 10-15 seconds is VERY important! As the meter runs, you can watch the reading slowly drop & then stabilize. Also, if the reading drops erratically, seeming to stop/catch momentarily, it is a good indication of trash stopping the flow as the meter moves it through the system. Stop right then & clean the needle, spray bar & filter(if used)!! If all you're blowing out/through the system is fuel, the meter will start slightly high/lean & drop smoothly down until it stabilizes - this can take a little while. Watch it, learn it, Boris' meter will help you avoid potential issues - as well as tune your engine.

I have found Boris' flow meters indispensable for optimizing the heat (cooling) on our boat motors, as well as the fuel mixture.

Washed up has been Wallster

Now back to Daytona!
