What model of strut for a gas rigger then - as speedmaster make a few

Most likely the short , round bottom hydro strut in 5/16 " bore for a 1/4 " drive cable . Make sure you sand the 5/16 " brass tubing so it is not too tight when trying to insert it into the strut . Some use a 5/16 reamer for a slip fit secured with red loctite .
