Hi Guys
Got to move soon and don't have a place to store my little boat........
1966 Starcraft 14' Fiberglass Runabout with an electric start 40hp Johnson on a good trailer.
Not real pretty, but in pretty good condition.
Cable steering,windshield, lights, spotlight ,horn, tach, speedo. all working last time out.
2 seats in front... a squirrel got under the tarp I had it covered with and chewed up one seat cushion a little.
The floor is mostly very sturdy... has 1 soft spot. Hull is sound... keel is scuffed up but nothing major, one 3 inch cut or crack
in the side - well above the water line.
The motor starts easy and runs great. it may need some minor work to the bottom end (new porpshaft bearing and seal) but is in running condition now. prop is worn from the gravel bottom river I run in, but isn't bent or cracked. the pull started doesn't work.
Newer battery and gas tank. comes with 2 adult and 2 child size life vests, emergency canoe paddle, anchor.
The trailer is in good condition, hand operated winch works fine, newer lights, may need new tires if you are going on a serious road trip.
I have clear title to both boat and trailer.
located 40 miles west of Chicago, 5 minutes off I-90 tollway.
