Crazy question. Do milk jugs make good nitro fuel jugs? I have a yellow one I thought would be good.

Windshield wiper fluid jugs are good. You can probably pick some empties up at a lube shop or dealership.

i've got over a dozen wildcat & technology jugs, anyone need some? just pay shipping. lmk.

Phenolic lined tin with REL 32 food grade cap for me.

I was thinking a colored jug to stop the sunlight. I also have w/s jugs and a anti freeze jug.. that's blue.

i use a 2.5 gallon chlorine jug. bulit a wood carring case with a battery compartment. works great

just go to a pool supply store and ask for a new unsed one.

should be around 10-15 dollars

Metal cans can, if not vented in some way, burst if left in the sun or implode if they are allowed to cool off. Due to the hazards involved, in some organizations, they are not legal to have in the pits. I know they are strictly forbidden to have in the pit area at R/C Unlimiteds events for those reasons. Since I've been running Powermaster, which comes in cans, I've had to transfer the fuel into a plastic fuel jug before taking it into the pit area and transfer the left over fuel back into the can for storage before heading for home.

Hi Ken,

You can use a plain old fashion plastic gas can, the red type. There's a number of us in our r/c flying club that use them, fuel proof, square or rectangular base is stable and many come with a flat plug for the cap that you can drill and use Sullivan and DuBro adapters for you lines. Some mount the pump on the handle and others use a loose handle crank pump and hang it by a chain.

Thanks, John

Just rec'd a email from Torco fuels about colored and they agree about using a dark color to cut down on uv rays.
