I have for sale a nice little LeeCraft tunnel with a K&B 3.5 mounted. The LeeCraft hull is in near perfect condition. This boat was more of a display item than it was one that I ran. The K&B is a 8935 powerhead with a 8907 lower unit mounted to it. The p/s, bearings, prop shaft and flex shaft are all relatively new. They've seen maybe 6 tanks of fuel since installed. The lower unit is polished and has been cut to accept a tuned pipe. The lower unit skeg has also been cut down. Servos are Futaba 3003 and Hitec 645MG. the engine is mounted with a Prather unit. This is a very clean and nice little rig.

I am asking $300 plus shipping. Unfortunately, I have also listed the boat on eBay, but I have the right to end my auction early. Please find several pics of the boat below.

Yes...I don't see the issue. Help me. You can "Buy It Now" on eBay for $300 or you can BIN here on IW for $300. What am I missing? Please let me know. Thanks.

Terry, I'll be more than happy to subtract the eBay fees for you if you want to but this neat little LeeCraft. eBay is charging me $5.00 to list the boat, and they will probably charge me another $10 bucks final sales fee. You can put this great little boat in your fleet for $285 plus shipping. Want do you say? Do we have a deal? Let me know. Thanks.

Sorry Terry, I mistakenly thought your response came from "Valet." I did intend for there to be a little sarcasm in my reply, but obviously NOT for YOU. I appreciate your support. Thank you!

At the same time, I am willing to lower my price for this boat to $250 plus shipping to anyone here on IW. Not because of Valet's questioning, but because I am super motivated to sell this boat so I can make another hobby purchase. At $250, I hope someone here on IW does recognize that this is a super deal!

Thanks all.

Yes you have a buy it now price and also a reserve on e bay that is lower then the buy it now price or you wouldn't have a reserve on it. So you were willing to sell it for less on e bay and still pay the e bay fees. No big deal I am not in the market for it but just looked odd.

Valet, I'm not sure why I keep trying to justify myself to you, BUT my eBay "Buy It Now" and "Reserve" price were exactly the same....they were both set at $300!

The price I have now set for IW potential buyers is $250 plus shipping.

Thanks again for your interest.

what are you getting at?
this is a sweet ride. I think I saw this boat a few year ago in RC Boat Modeler mag.
Hey Scott, THANK YOU for sharing that. That's very interesting to hear that you know about that. I had been told by the original builder of this boat that it had been featured in the RC Boat Modeler magazine several years back, but I was never able to find that article. You wouldn't by any chance still have that magazine or article, would you? If so, I'd love to see it. BTW...I paid $225 for this hull without an engine approx. 1 1/2 ago, and again, the boat has hardly been used at all since I've been the owner of it.

I happen to still have this article.......man am I a pack rat or what. It is in the August 2005 issue. I i will scan and post it tomorrow. It looks like it had a modified Rossi on at one time....Other than that this boat looks as good now as it did 3 some years ago..... you should hang on to this boat.

Scott, that's great that you still have the article. I'm going to go on the net and see if I can find the article now that I know the year/month. I'd like a copy for myself, and I'd like to give one to the guy who just bought the boat on eBay for $300. Thanks again.
