Free Starting Batteries

I was shipped the wrong batteries for a UPS system and the company did not want to pay the return shipping so i'm giving them away.

I have three 12v 17AH/20HR sealed maintenance-free batteries. 6 3/4" Tall 3" deep 7 1/8" wide the weigh in at almost 14lbs each.

If you want one and live in or around the cincinnati area i will make arangements to meet you and drop it off. If you want it shipped you pay the shipping and i'll ship it.

Can they be used for the Club's trolling motor?

sure make sure the motor does not draw more than 17Amps and i will wire them up and build a ply box for them.

never mind i can wire them up to supply upto about 40amps at 12v

one more edit..

after doing some math, if that motor draws a constant 20amps at 12v these batteries will not last very long. I'll give them to you next time I see you but i dont think its the best solution. A deep cycle marine battery would be the best.

Only when charged I'll have to make sure mine is charged before coming back up Thursday
