Guys, I have a virtually brand new HTB 290 and OS engine set-up here for sale. I bought this hull that was painted by Rusty for $450.00. The paint, as all of Rusty's work, is flawless. I built this boat to race in Finland in summer of 2008. Their rules are Box Stock, and this engine is just that. It was brand new for this race, and the only things we were allowed to do to them was sharpen the skeg, run an oiler, and remove the head shim. This is all that is done to this engine. It has maybe a quart of fuel through it. The entire boat has 4 heats on it, and maybe 20 laps to get the set-up close on it. I have a different IMPBA sport boat already, so I have no need for this.
The servos are new as well, and they are a metal gear high torque Futaba S3305 for steering duties, and a Futaba ball bearing S9001 for throttle. It also has an on-off switch. I have an OER pull pull cable set-up on it for steering, and a small flex for throttle. The fuel tank is mounted under the the cowling, not on the hull. This is how I do all of my boats now. It is easily converted if you want to change it.
I also made up my own wooden radio box to get the weight further forward as I do with all of the HTB's I run. It is a watertight epoxy sealed box, with a removable G10 fiberglass servo tray cut out with my mill. I also have a virgin fiberglass HTB (the one it comes with) radio box that the new owner can have if they want it.
The bottom has been blueprinted.
Boat runs and handles great. No scratches or damage to the paint of hull. Paint is phenomenal. All of the stickers, EXCEPT the HTB290 stickers, and H&R customs on the rear can easily be removed. HTB290 and H&R customs (Rusty's paint shop) are actually painted on.
I am asking $550.00 shipped (cost of the hull and radio box alone...) to the US. I will ship anywhere else for actual cost.
Money order or check only please.
***It does NOT come with a receiver, prop, or battery.***
