Hydro racers,
Some time ago I stared a drawing called “FootPrints”. It’s a database of hydroplanes and placement of parts and setups.
It might be fun to collect more of this data..
Lets stick with outriggers for now.. Having said this I do have a Sport Hydro database as well.
If you want provide me the following and I will post the info here for all to share and ponder.
If you feel it might be a bad idea to share your setups that’s OK.. this is merely to stimulate conversation and not to STEEL anybody’s knowledge.
OK.. for those of you that want to participate.
I need..
1. Type of boat (FE-Nitro-Gas and name)
2. Distance from back of the drive dog to the back of the sponsons.. if they are different provide me that as well.
3. Distance from the back of the right sponson to the furthest back point of the turn fin
4. Distance left and right from the drive dog to the sponson keelsons
5. CG measured from the back of the sponsons rearward
I know what your thinking.. There is so much more.. True and we can add that in the future.. for now lets keep it simple.
When we start getting info I will post pics as we go.
