What type flotation is being used in F/G hydro hulls ?

I use pool noodles. I replace them half way through the season.

Either the pool noodles or foam insulation sheet cut to fit.

I use pool noodles, if you cut seal the ends with a pass from a propane torch.

Stay away from the spray in and two part foams. I've seen them blow a boat's seams apart. They also can trap and hold water/fuel residue

You can also use copper pipe insulating foam tubes. They are smaller in diameter and fit better in tight areas. Available at any hardware stores.
