will a 3/16 flex shaft fit in the stiffening tube of my mv. there are a few props i would like to try and they all are 3/16 . what needs to be done to make this work.

byron,,, beleive it or not you can use a small chunk of nitro fuel tubing,,the thin walled stuff,, slide it on the prop shaft all the way to the drive dog... then simply slide the 3/16 props on...cut the tubing so it is just short of the prop hub in length...

or you can some way make a bushing out of brass or aluminum tubing...

hope this helps

I'm with Alden on this one, fuel tubing is simple and it works.

Byron - Aeromarine makes a 5mm x 3/16 collet to fit the aquacraft .18 and os .18 engines - pull the teflon liner out of the stuffing tube and the 3/16 shaft fits perfect - you can use a piece of 7/32 and 1/4 brass tubing to make a bushing for the strut if you need it
