Well here it is. GP Top Speed with OS .21. I ran about half a gallon of 25% through it this weekend and had a blast. I only flipped it once, and got it pretty much dialed in motor-wise. Next weekend I am going to work on the trim, and balance. I just need to add the cockpit mask, and the paint job will be complete. Sorry for the lame flames but it was the best mask I coudl find in a rush.

Hi Shane,

Nice looking first boat. You have to join us over in the OB forum. One thing you might like to consider adding to your stand is a board that sticks out the back with a slot in it for the lower leg. This really helps not trying to break your steering servo when you are firing it up and it jerks the motor around with the starter. Be kind to steering servos and they will be kind to you.

Have fun and keep the wet side down.

Shane,

Welcome to the club. It's your first and I'm sure it won't be your last. :D Running boats are addictive, once you start and things go well, your hooked.

Glad to hear the boat ran well for you and don't worry about the flames...at least it has some paint on it!

When I had mine, the one thing that I hated the most was the funky looking decal that came with the kit for the windshield. I made my own using some TrimKote. I laid out the design that I like on one side with masking tape, laid it on one side of the TrimKote, cut it out then put the tape on the other side to do the other half so that both sides matched. Not a good description but the best I can do. I ended up by looking kind of like a DPI windshield.
