Spent this afternoon at the pond with my Novarossi 46 outboard! Here is my final setup.I made a new head button so I can run std glowplugs. I did not measure the volume of the combustion, but it is smaller than the stock, turbo head. Head clearance is set at eleven thousandths. Fuel is S&W 65% nitro w/9% oil. The pipe is a Silver bullit. Prop is an Octura X450 that has been back-cut and detongued. The boat is an HTB360. And last but not least,I made a new spraybar for the stock carb and it is finally working. I truly believe that the boat is running in the 65mph range! I can't wait to get it into the heat of battle! See you at the Worlds

Good to hear you got it running and well. I will have the truth meter (Stalker radar gun) with me at the race. I have several boats I want to radar, including some of the new FE boats.

We have a club workday tomorrow at 10 am to get ready for the race next week. Come and bring the boat and I'll bring the truth meter.

This new combination is alot faster than the one that I used to tie with Jay last year.
Jay was saying the same thing about his new Warhead. It is alot faster than my HTV he ran last year. **** Drake ruined him.

It is special oil made just for me. The guy that made it was a chemist in the Airforce. You think 6% is low oil, but if you run 50:1 in your real boat, that is only 2% oil!

Guys,

Bob and I run this fuel for a few years now with no problems at all.

The quality of oil is what it is all about. The oil doesn't burn.

It is good stuff if you keep a rich needle setting. Most don't have

Access to a chemist though Bob? Good luck at the WTC.

Thanks,

Mark

Thats Fine Mark not everyone has the same tools available to them

We have an oil that works fine at those percentages and lower also

I didnt want people to read that and go and run 6% of lets say Cool Power or Klotz

And blow up their engines.

As i stated before please use at good quality fuel with at least 15% oil content

Some castor is also a good idea ( what i like to call an insurance policy)

Greg
hi greg, i know stan at S&W Fuels for many years and have use his 50& 60% with 12% oil that he sells to the public in everything from a .12 to a .91 and have never had any issuses with his stuff.i have been a distributor for him for the last four years and his fuel and quality is great! his oil's are a propritary blend that is like no other.mikie.
