FE Sport 40

Could someone recomend both a oval heat race setup and a saw straight away setup using lipo and brushless on a Phil Thomas sport 40. I will likely do a bit a both. I use to race electrics boats 10 years ago in a Missisauga Ontario club. I converted over to nitro racing for the past 10 years due to the electric technolgy at the time was not as fast and dependable. I have been tempted to get back into FE boat since the developement of lipoly and brushless engine setups. Like I said I am a little out of touch with setup and could really use your help. If you could also point me in the right dirrection to obtain Fe setup info that would be great.

Also where can I purchase good Lipoly, esc and brushess engines?

Hi Guys,

The sport 40 will use a high end setup, I have a perfect 40 setup in stock. My Whiplash Sport 40 runs in the 60s in oval trim and set up for straight lines would be ballistic.

Dave, if you need a FE Super Sport45 boat I think Chris Fine has a kit for sale. www.finedesign.com

Someone was selling a FE SSP45 lately here too. Check the FE or For Sale forum

You can get a new one from me setup for FE too.

The FE boats dont have all the doublers for motor mounts and are a bit lighter.
