Rumor has it, Kelly is coming down to do some testing with us. I can't wait to see the FE's run! I have been boating for 15 years now and have never seen them. We will also be running Nitro, Gas, and Scale (70"+ CrisCraft?) I have never seen the Scale boat either. It will be great to meet new people from different aspects of the hobby.

This Sunday, 11:00 at our CMBC lake

Believe you want to head east away from 74. I stayed in town during the race, Quality Inn, and we were on the east side of 74.

There was a tiny ep deep v having fun during open water on Sunday. Thought someone stated they clocked that little sucker at 37mph.. That thing scooted...

Hey Brian, do we need to call the park rangers when coming up Sunday?

See ya there....

The first person who arrives at the lake must call the Rangers. Usually I call them, but it would be nice to get into the habbit of doing this. Should be a fun time. I will bring the grill.

Directions:

74W

275S

Get off at the Kilby Rd Exit

Go North (left) on Kilby Rd.

You will go over some railroad tracks about 1/4 mile down. First street on Right is Dryfork, turn there.

Go one mile and turn left after the white buildings.

Go down the gravel drive (slowly) and vere off to the lake on the right.

Bring lots of water, its going to be a hot one!

There isn't electric or a generator at the lake.

Brian

The only time I did not call the rangers was for the IMPBA race. I normally call them in Crittenden since I stop to eat lunch. Once I cross state line, I'm roaming and don't want the charges. Soon enough, I'll get another plan that has the states as local vs just Ky...

If he's coming from 74, get off at Dry Fork exit. Turn left on Harrison Rd, down about 1/2 mile turn right on Dry Fork. About mile down you'll need to turn right before the first white building. Found out about this at the race. Saves a bit of back tracking. Then again, I did miss Dry Fork and we drove down Harrison a few miles before turning around. I just blamed that on the navigator, Zac..

Wonder if this link will work for ya.. Harrison Ohio

See ya tomorrow..

Hey guys, if I ever had a race at General Butler, would you be interested in comeing? Have you ever seen the lake here? (Carrollton, KY)

thanks,

Steve

Well, I'd still have to drive over and check it out. Are there any tunnel racers there?

Nobody at this point, I want to have a FE race someday. I run there, but there are no bouys and I would need to come up with a removal system. The Park has given the okay in the past, but I have never had a race yet.

thanks,

Steve

Hey, thank you for coming out. I've seen a few EP's run recently. I do have to admit your two boats were impressive.. That D-V ran well for first time out...

OB Nut Racing - Yugo racer

OB and others in the Cinci area...thanks for the invite to your pond guys!

Kelly gave it a big thumbs up! I'll try to make it down there in Aug sometime....I want to see you guys run...and of course run on your big course!

Man I gotta build something bigger than 12 cells. :)
