Does anyone have a link to good fe calculator? I lost mine.

thanks.

Hugh

Here's another one:

I will work on a new data sheet tonight. Its got some outdated motors and batteries. Ill do a new list with stuff we run "Castles,Neus,Leopards,Lehners, and new batteries as well. Take a look at the equipment and see if the motor you have is there if not send me your motor specs or direct me to a link and ill build the updated list. Note: This is an old calculator and is good for reference. I suggest it be used in conjunction with other available calculators as well as common sense. The later might be hard for some of you lol!

Please pm me any battery data or motor data you have on motors or batteries not listed already.

Hugh;

I see that the one in frame #6 is set up for NiCad/NmH batteries.

I have FE calc and have been continuously updating the txt files with new motors, ESC's and batteries.

I have also deleted A BUNCH of the motors that I consider out dated. (to me anyways.)

Yeah thats what im doing too but to get around this i was thinking build pages for each brand the same them fe cal file "neu" ,cal file"leopard" so on and so on then you just rename each one to "fecal" remembering that each time you rename the Fecal youre using you must rename the one you replaced it with. You cant have to files named "fecal" you will get a runtime error. Havent figure out how to modify the program to accept a long list of all motors. I agree some motors can be deleted. Whose using a 12 turn brushed motor in Fe? not many :ph34r: wish I saw the code. Note I also take the voltage spec for the motor then divide it by 4.2 for lipos then use that as the max cell count for that motor. I need to build a brushed motor nicad and metal halide list then put it on the shelf. I have a long list from fe calculator for batteries. I need to figure out the most common ones "WE" use, then load those. Have you tried one of those tenshock motors yet in a build? Those things can handle alot of amps plus theyre 8 pole; wow. Im very curious to say the least. what about the TP Power motors seen like a very economical brushless option for almost an 8 hp motor :eek:

Carl I just added the two missing 580 l's the seven and 9 turn.Got the io for them by using the kv an io data from the other models. Then I plotted it and did a regression plotted the line of best fit. then simply gave it the kv which was provided by feigao for the two then looked at the intersection point then whala you have the the unprovided io for the of 7 turn and 9 turn. If you know a few of the motors in a series then you can aproximate within 98 percent or better with a best line of the least derivation. you have to look at the behavior of the plotted data and choose which regression curve is the best .power,logarithmic,exponetial, linear, so on and so on.

heres the feigao 580L's the complete series:

Now ill fill the holes in the Nues as much as I can. I think ill do and entire note with just the neu motors. Then ill do all the Leos. thats the only way I figure you can have all the motors you want irreguardless of list space. send me that list with the battery datd you got. that will save me alot of work.

thanks

Hugh

Neu has alot of TBD to be determined but i can still extract the numbers from the function of the motors they do list,but careful attention needs to be made as neu has motor in the same series with different wind configuration (delta,y, and so on) and that makes a difference. should be interesting Im curious abou the lower winds as the have gobs of torque and can handle "ultra high voltage" ever spun a x457 at 50 k? :eek:

Hugh;

sure haven't, but I have spun a 5 1/4" x 5.84" pitch single blade speed prop at around 42K.

(Rossi 15 (2.5cc) RR ABC SLIGHTLY warmed over. LOL)

Carl are you back yet? Hows the family? I got some more numbers for NEU Motors
