Thanks Tony.

This brings me to another line of thinking.

By no stretch do any of us FE nuts think that electric is going to take over the world but I'm sure that some fuel racers are curious about FE. Some in FE have even suggested that our classes should be adjusted so that a cross over to FE from nitro would be easy for at least a few classes.

I don't see that happening in that way. I wouldn't expect a guy to gut his Sport 40 so he could convert it to FE. I suppose some might but most would build something right out of the box made for FE and keep racing their Sport 40 the way it is.

There just is no IMPBA FE presence at this time. That's not to say there can never be just that there isn't at the moment. There are very few NAMBA clubs in our district and the FE racers are quite spread out within the district. Getting together with any frequency is really tough. It would be slick if we could find a place to fit in with the existing clubs and race. Racen is racen right? IMPBA, NAMBA, BUBBA, it's all model boat racing.

The more the merrier?

Dennis, the contacts are on the IMPBA site for the various races I listed. Guess we better get off our dead behinds if we're going to try to get out there and play. Vacation is over brother. LOL

BTW

Joe Wiebelhaus can't be more than 15 minutes from me.

Grimracer is sticking his big toe in the FE waters at our race and is running LSH.

He CD'd two years ago so we're excited to have him come back just to race.

Rock on, hey Mike?
