We have the Venom failsafe for $23.00 or the Ofna failsafe for $24.99. Shipping would run about $4.00

I use the Venom that Bob mentioned above. Great, no probs. Luckily for me does the job really well, as my JR XS-3 synthesised receiver has let me down more than once.

I had dynamites and they failed with the moisture, got a couple ofnas, and havent had a problem with them, and i have had failures with my synthsised receiver (jr) as well.

Tom,

Are you looking at doing something regarding the JR problem? I know the simple, and probably only answer is to get something else. Any ideas?

Thanks

Gino

Yep, alittle water and the JR synthesized reciever is junk! I just got rid of mine and don't know what to replace it with.

Oh... were talking about fail safes though! I have two Venoms and haven't had a problem yet. They have even taken on alot of water and still work. You can't beet the price too! Your local hobby store should have them, or at least be able to get one for you.

I use MPIs' around $30 beats the h--- out of Futabas for $64.99 they are the same shape & size except MPIs' are orange, never had a problem with them. I use them in all my boats. I get them fro Gary Preusse 630-279-2451.

Davo,

You have a couple of rc supplier in Aus. check with them. If you can't find one, let me know. I still have one new in box Futaba and one used. I kept them after I switched to MPIs' or I can get you the MPI at my cost + shipping to you. Send me an e mail if interested in either one.

Futabas mod # is FP-FSU1 now, the one you have I never heard of that number, might be previous number. On the lead you can clip off the wing and will work on Fut & Hitec. You can always cut off the lead and solder a lead that will work with your radio.
