Here's an idea for these budget 12's. A cheeep cowl made from a $2.55 8" bubble canopy for this little firefighter rigger. I was at the LHS and saw them hanging there so I thought it would look kinda clean and maybe streamline the motor area a little to boot. I got 2 for just over 5 bucks. The cuts need to be cleaned up and some vents added. I'm gonna paint the inside of it black like a tinted windshield. :p

Great idea Clay! Need to check out the other side of the LHS anyways. :D

There's a bunch of different canopies available for planes that should do the trick.

Clay,

Cool idea, do you know how you will be attaching it to the ply?

Try RC-56 glue, made specially for attaching canopies, available at all good LHS.

Dries clear, great stuff.

There is a CA for clear parts like the canopy but if you're going to paint it anyway, Shoo-Goo will do. That would work better if you are going to paint it on the inside.

BTW, loooks good on there!
