I got its twin brother, pictures are posted in my gallery. That boat has slightly different front sponsons than a regular Extreme boat. I am getting ready to run mine in the next few days.

I've probably run twins for more years than anyone in the hobby today and always had the same connector on the steering servo. Never had a problem. Of course, everyone has their preference and it's easy to change.

Boat is going to Australia. I know the first name is Kevin but don't know the last name yet.

Thats absurd , unless you hit something or never maintain your equipment that pin will not break on its own . I have put a dab of silver solder on the head of the pin as a precautionary measure but .... it won't just break . I use a different type but have used these on many fast boats . This twin is awesome , good luck to the new pilot !

It was just my "Humble" opinion, getting your shorts in a knot is absurd.

I agree with Ray, those connectors have the tendency to break the pin.
the pin always sometime rare pop off so replace best of one Sullivan Gold-N- Clevises (interlocked collar &retaining clip) don't worry and more safe ;)

Tom, Not all twins put out the same load requirements on the rudder and it's servos.

However I have that EXACT same package and I would not trust that linkage set-up on mine.

The new owner has a number of twin in his position. He can look at that set up and make the changes or judgement for himself.

;) ;) ;)

OH and YES..............A DAM GOOD BUY IT IS!!!

Point taken , my bad ! Shorts straightened ! I have used these sucessfully , must be a staight pull or push and keeper must be intact , I use 4-40 bolt on ball links on mine .
