I can help find rooms but it may be 10 miles from lake... The Joes are at it again and this race date will be moved next year. The August Nats race has no room issues nor does the September race....need help ask the bald guy

Don't know about availability but there is a homelife studio and suites a days inn and a supper 8 Down on Green river rd 10 minute. Drive at the most

How about moving the JUNE Race to the MAY Date???? for 2012 & eliminating the May Date? it was hot ( 107-110 index) in june 2010, cannot see someone without a room????? calling & telling them you are with the Jehovah`s group didnt work either...

I agree with Joe. The June race is becoming a problem with getting rooms. We did get a room at the Super 8. I guess when your eyes close you don't know if you sleeping at the Ritz Carlton or the Super 8!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys I know a room right near the lake is were everybody wants to be, but I've noticed by going to some of the races outside Evansville, sometimes your room ends up being further than you like. Evansville has hotels all over, and even if it's on the west side of E'ville, you can pretty much get from one side of town to the other in 15-20 min by staying either on Hwy 41 or the Lloyd Expressway. Both of those routes have plenty of rooms. But hopefully, we can get that issue worked out by a simple date change as Mikey was saying. Personally, I know it's HOT in June but I don't want to see any race eliminated but if that's what has to be done, then so be it. Hopefully all can be fixed without doing that.

Henderson, Ky is an option as well for rooms. Right across the Ohio and same driving time as from west side.

Rooms will be tough,sorry just get one soon. We will find another date for next year,but moving it this year is a huge problem. With Atlanta and Huntsville already moving dates if we were to do it we would step on someones race...Not going to happen,If you cant find a room let me or Jeff know and we will help you find one.....
