thinking of get a electric starter for mv . what would be a good one to look at ? and do i need a engine plate or not
Depending on how tight it is between the bottom and the flywheel, its really no big deal....i have a coupla boats like that and the belt will spin off as soon as you start it....not to mention as the belt gets used it will usually suck into the flywheel grove, giving you more clearence. If its tight to the point of being a problem there are ways to correct the problem. As far as a starter...What Alden said....any old starter will work fine on these little engines as they dont require alot of power to lite em off.I got a belt for my miss vegas and there dosen't seem to have much room for the belt under the flywheel. It rubs on the flywheel and hull?
I run the tower hobbies tower power and a tork master bat.I have had good luck with it and it srarts all my boats.Cheep to
