Well, He did promise to change things Andy . Extending unemployment benefits and taking cost of living increases(for two years) from seniors on Social Security were changes. Didn't put anyone back to work. Hope someone like him will not hold that office again in my lifetime.

Sorry if I seened a little harsh A.B. -he may be taking care of the upper and lower classes but what has he done for the seniors and middle class that have worked hard and paid into S.S. all their lives?

I think you missed my sarcasm Glenn. I tend to be sarcastic when it comes to politics. So here's some more sarcasim lol.

Let's see, what has he done to help the middle class and seniors? Well the price of food is up! That would help the overweight middle class and seniors loose some weight, won't it?...just in case they won't listen to Michelle Obama's wise advice about eating properly LOL

S.S. checks buy less gas too! That will cut down on carbon and give the middle class and seniors cleaner air to breath too!

Oh it's not BO's fault that gas is up...it's those pesky Iranians! LOL

If he will just SPEND a little more money to BLOW UP & REBUILD IRAN......., then the FED will have to do more "quantitative easing", QE3?. That ought to "Stimulate the economy, huh? lol

Then the value of the dollar will really tank with all of those worthless dollors in circulation and gas and food prices will really spike!. That should really piss off a bunch of people in the middle class along with those on S.S. and welfare, because they will really get hungry!

.....and then the "austarity" measrues will ensue

Then there will be rioting in the streets...just like Greece!...No, worse!!! This is a big country and the people have guns! h34r:

Then the government will have to ramp up secutity and that will give more jobs to people in the "Security" sector. That would be good for those that work in that industry, Right?!?!

I mean the DRONE bussiness is going to really get good! That could be a real boon to all of us R/C guys! JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!

I bet the government could even find a way to fudge those job increases and make it look like the economy is getting better! LOL

I could stand to lose some weight- I could probably go on the dog food diet-heard the only side effect was sniffing poodles backsides.I could sell my Chevy truck and get a bike- that should make more jobs for EMT's and those that do cardiac surgery. OH! and getting the boats to the pond on a trailer behind the bicycle- more jobs for the EMT's and cardiac industry. Rioting in the streets? Praise the Lord and pass the ammo! This would be a great for the ammunition mfgs. and reloading industries and would create many jobs. Never lose you sense of humor Andy- when that's lost-all is lost .

Sweet Jesus Andy, I was tring to keep it light hearted and humerous but when I saw them folding up the flag in the video I kind of lost it. I didn't know till about 5 years ago that they wrap the brass from a 21 gun salute in a flag and give it to the famlies of those lost in combat.

I beleive that cut was from a "veterens for Ron Paul" march on D.C. They were saluting all of the vets who had taken their own lives.

These political type threads make for fascinating reading. Now that we all have some information about economics 101 from the above responders to this thread, its time for the test. I just did a search on the web" Income taxes paid by Boeing" a little company out here in the Seattle area. As the self appointed professor of this economics 101 class, here is the final test question. If you can explain it you can take the rest of the day off and go test boats. The question is why does Boeing often pay no taxes to the US government but does pay taxes to foreign countries where it does business when the US suposedly has one of the highest corporate tax structures in the world.

Since the sun is out and I'm retired, I'm going out and test a boat or two. Have a good day!!!

Because the "Banksters" (a new term for "gansters"), care nothing about the people of USA....and for the most part they are not real Americans. Their alligence is to other countries (London, the finance center of the world, or more specificly THEMSELVES). They are working overtime to EXTRACT (aka as STEAL) the WEALTH that hard working Americans have acummulated over the last 150 years.
