Boaters,

I have some reports of some very fast Electric and Nitro boats

out on the East Coast. Examples below:

90+ electric scale boat

90+ 12 Kzam Hydro

OB electrics off the charts

Electric hydros 120+

12 and 45 SAW still to be determined

many more working on new chapters for the record books.

Should be some impressive video out of Elizabeth City this weekend.

Thanks For Reading,

Mark Sholund

talked to dick loeb/moonlighter112 this morning. the TBM no longer holds the p spec tunnel record. he's gonna try to push it out of reach today, using the "small" motor. says he has a better legal motor in the trailer, but doesn't need it  !!

Actually there is not an official P-Spec class in the IMPBA Robin. It's just P Outboard Tunnel. The Class does not have any motor restrictions.

7 FE records set yesterday. Mr Doug Smock broke the 80 MPH Mono barrier for IMPBA FE's with his T-mono. Also I believe Don Ferrette ran 89 in his FE 1/8th scale.

We didn't think it would stand long. There was a lot left in the boat but we ran out of weather in Huntsville. I'm just a noob at FE, Dick and Doug both helped me to get it as far as I did. I consider myself lucky to just be able to say I held a record at all.

Congrats to Dick Loeb!

Congrats to all, awesome effet.

I also heard Aaron made couple pass's in the 125mph range with his F hydro,

cheers Luca

Guy's

having an awesome time in the U.S, after my boat box got lost and only got my boats back at 10pm night before the

start of the records trials,(thank god)

Some very fast boats here on the East coast, and seeing KP's little .12 go 90mph+ was awesome.

tomorrow is looking at our best day of the event, fingers crossed, should see a few more records fall.

have heaps of video of the event that i will post when i get back.

regards Aaron

Yeah, its sitting next to me right now, temps were 98 on the motor, esc was 105, and the batteries were 111. I had the pleasure of being the tech witness. This guy really knows his stuff. Probably the most innovative design work I have ever seen. Come on wind please lay back down. Bout two hours till dark. Mike

Thats rollin. Did the boat exceed 140? Joerg got some competition with the electric riggers.

The 2 runs Chris made were AMAZING and he just barely missed the 140 mark!! I unfortunately busted up my T FE rigger on a pass that was definitely looking alot faster than the 118 I did earlier so I was done for the rest of the weekend with that one. Chris and I had set a mutual goal together to both get over 130 so John Equi (IMPBA Secretary) would have to order new speed patches as they currently don't go over 125, LOL!! I'm really happy for Chris and we had a blast, he is a class act for sure. Can't wait for oval trials this coming weekend! :)
