I think I remember reading someone uses E6000 adhesive for sticking fuel tanks into a hull,,,

Could anyone add advice, good,, bad,,, are they removable once stuck down, if need be?

Thanks in advance

I don't know about removing it but I have used it on two of my nitro boats and it sticks pretty well, fuel doesn't seem to bother it at all. I just put five small dots, one in each corner and the center. That was more than enough to very securely hold the tank. Great vibration isolation.

ultra grey or ultra black automotive silicone sealer works great also, RRRick. all i use in all my boats, plastic or metal tanks. easily removed & fuel (i run 65%) hasn't bothered it. cheaper than e6000, & available at any parts house. if you have room, a layer of pool noodle cut to size/shape is good for vibration. wasn't sure if the noodles would stand up to fuel, but 2 of my tunnels have held up for a couple of years now. good way to elevate the tank in a tunnel.

E 6000 is hard to remove, but works well on fuel tanks..Just pull on them real slow and they will come off but not the silicone..You'll have to scrape it off.
