Westoz,

The SD90 is essentially an Octura X665 with a 1/4" bore and the SD91 is very similar to an X467 also with a 1/4" bore. If you are running a CMB 90 in a Seaducer then these props are the ones for you.

I have two of each sharpened and balanced that I'd be happy to part with if you are looking for some (I am running a MAC 84 in my Seaducer now that prefers an X462).

Regards,

David K

Dave,

I run the 91 prop on my ducer. Have not tried the 90 prop but used to run the X665 and the boat was more fussy on setup.

David,

Why the switch in motors if you don't mind me asking? That 'ducer of yours was very fast when I last saw it - it was still CMB powered then.

Tim,

After a bit of bad luck with my EVO's I decided to change to MAC motors with a more traditional crank set-up. After seeing Alan Terry's X mono at the NAMBA Nats set a NAMBA heat race record with a stock MAC 84 I didn't think I would be giving too much away by changing.

Craig,

My boat also preferred the M91 but it would lag a little in the turns because of the increased diameter.

Will we see either (or both ideally) of you at the Hunter Valley Champs on Oct. 30 & 31 ? Always a great event - the friendliest in the AMPBA we think !

Regards,

David Kelly

David,

Wont make the HV champs. Mulwala in November then the Nats for me.

Surprised with the change to the 84 as well. Mine came up against quite a few 84s in the US including Eric McNair and Cody Sandfers and they were slower than my stock A90!!! (Won straight line in US1 comp 2003) Unless new MAC engines are much more powerful I wouldnt have changed.

EMS Racing The older I get the faster I was

David,

I never miss it - it is one of my fave events. I broke a piston during practice last year and left early (only took one boat  )

I'm trying to have my new X mono ready for this event too. Should make 3 boats for me at this event.
