any points series racing this year in our district ??? D5 has been very quiet Lets wake up.

No points series since there are only 2 clubs that are registered with IMPBA the Voodoo club in NOLA and the Huntsville club

well we have the jackson TN also we should try to get some racing there its a good site do a district race or something. theres really i dont see anything going on here while all the other districts are have a race, series or doing something. i guess im just fustrated things are alittle different in D12..

we have people in Huntsville, AL and i know some people would come over from Evansville IN, Knoxville and ATL also. i mean i think we should try something its one of the best sites i have seen so far.

Yes District 5 is WIDE open to this! With the cost of gas being sky high it would be fine to have boat racing close to the home fires also. All it takes is a few poeple to work together and make it happen...

PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE!! Also some insentives for the out of towners to come such as prizes for the class winners or some nice raffel prizes would also help i think, racers will follow competetion most of the time... jm2c..

ok so what are we doing to fix this problem ??? i mean we need to come together with the other club presidents and racers from D5 and get some racing done here In D5 im pretty sure we can talk to RC Boat Builders,distributors,hardware,parts,discounts,fuel suppliers so on and come up with raffle stuff and put on a hell of a race. Im not trying to start anything bad but we have been sitting down on this for too long some clubs have fallen like Jackson TN because of no interest that should never had happen but im not blaming anyone.we need to generate interest and some hardcore racing venues again. we need to get this district back on the map. anyone feels the same way here in D5 ???
