I don't know how true it is, I haven't made it out to the site...
We'll keep this post updated as things change between now and the weekend.
Thanks, and see everyone on Saturday.

Highway E at I-94 set to reopen
BY TERRY FLORES [email protected]
SOMERS — So long to barricades and “road closed” signs — at least at one interchange with Interstate 94.
By noon today, Highway E, all of its on-ramps and offramps and the East Frontage Road, will be open, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
Only the West Frontage Road will be closed at the interchange and remain under construction until late fall, said Laura Goranson, project communications coordinator for the state’s interstate reconstruction project.
The work is part of the $1.9 billion reconstruction of I-94 between Milwaukee’s south side and the Illinois state line. The project is expected to continue for the next several years.
In addition to work at Highway E and several other interchanges, the project includes adding a fourth lane in each direction throughout the corridor.
For at least the last two months, Highway E at has been closed at I-94. On Monday, several residents who live near the roadwork said they were interested in seeing the improvements.
For Phyllis Borger, who lives in the 9200 block of Highway E (12th Street), the road closure was welcomed.
“I loved it. The traffic was minimal, so it was nice for me,” said Borger.
Borger said she doesn’t use I-94 much, but she realizes the work has to be done.
“Traffic’s got to move. It’s got to go somewhere,” she said.
Jack Norman, who lives just east of 97th Avenue near the Gitzlaff Farms on Highway E, was pleased by the news.
“Good. I’m glad to hear it,” he said. “I’m tired of people turning around and using my driveway to do it. I think once it’s open, it’s going to be nice. It probably hasn’t been that long since it’s been closed, but it seems like it has been a long time.”
Like Norman, Pam Woltersdorf didn’t know the interchange would be accessible later today. Woltersdorf, who works at Abbott Laboratories, said she hasn’t been able to drive out Highway E since June.
“Great. I’m excited,” she said.
Town Administrator William Morris said since the interchange closure, he has heard very few complaints. “Of course you’ll have a few people who will complain (about being re-routed). We haven’t really had any complaints. You had the sings on the I that told people to use (Highway) 142, and I think that was really well done. So no real complaints,” he said.
