District 3 Race schedule?

We really need to get people together and figure out (if its even gonna happen) a schedule for WCRA .

Would be a shame to see it go away, that's a GREAT series for new boaters- A very good way to cut your teeth before diving into a Dist 2 day race.

Its also a lot more laid back.

Like I said...I tried to put out a workable schedule In October 2011...Tampa was on board somewhat ( I talked to Norm & Marty @ the winternats)...Brandon was non-responsive. When I talked to Tampa, they are waiting for thier driver stand to be completed & ok'd by the City & didn't want to commit to any early year dates yet. I proposed we may run the series later in the year and that may be what happens...we will see. I still can't get anyone from the Brandon club to even talk about it.

I was referring to the 2 day schedule. It seems like in tunnels, which made up a lot of the boats in the WCRA, that everyone would rather go out of the state and race than show up in our own back yard, and the class is getting divided now with the interest in electric. In the end it may kill the class

Rich(Shawn) , you need to rally your troops and keep them fired up like Brett has done with some the other nitro classes . Everyone has lots going on so it's hard to make any race these days . BTW the races in South Carolina are a lot of fun and the setting makes the race . Looking forward to the Brandon race .
