Decent cowl for 60 Hummingbird

OK I have suggested it in other threads.....

Now here is the plain and simple question.

Is there a decent useable cowl out ther for Hummingbird 60/80?

The cowl that came with it is basically a Waste of Space.... pity because the rest of the boat is pretty much perfect... No I didnt use the engine mounts supplied but thats my personal preference.

I just saw Jim this weekend running a .80 with a cowl and it was totally enclosed. Maybe he has changed it.

That CF cowling jim has on the 80 is SWEET......I think I remember him telling me last week that he finished the plug for it, and that they're available in Carbon Fiber....I'll try to call and verify this evening.

Yes I am in Melbourne and would love a cowl

Will be interested to see the new (real) Hummingbird cowl especially to see if there is any downforce in it or maybe I just have mine set up wrong.....

Have removed the rears and going to reset everything a little differently as well as getting a longer strut. May even move the rear sponsons a little aft to match the strut. Ya know it is a good 45 size for rough weather too!!!! LOL

If memory servs, Jim said that somebody copied the page completely or had been linking to it without permission so Jim took the page down.

I got the impression it was a temporary thing.
