D12 fun run CANCELLED

Due to low water levels and the grasses in the water we are cancelling the Oct 5-7 event. The club will host a free event at the Columbia pond next saturday 9/22 at 10 am. We will have water and sodas and the grill will be there too. Come out to finish the season off with some good friends,fun,and racing.

The nearest address per google maps is 8869 Stanford blvd. We usually tell everyone to gps Apple Ford on rt 175 and Snowden river Parkway .The lake is located behind the dealership on Stanford blvd.

This weekends fun run will be pushed back to Sunday, the sailboat guys are having their district finals on saturday until 4pm. We will run Sunday at 10am until....

charles, travis & i are talking about riding over. how bad is that pond affected by wind? still working on setups & fresh engines for charleston. need the pond time, just no whitecaps ...........

The pond sits down a bit in a bowl and the office bldg protects it from west/southern winds. I have never seen the wind become a factor in this lake.
