D-4 races to attend

I am trying to decide which race to atend the Valley RC race June 19th or the Illni Powerboaters race June 27th. I will be in the Des Plaines area June 21-25 so either way will work. Is there any special rules not listed in IMPBA rulebook like the Badgers noise rule? Which race site is easier to get to from Des Plaines area? Any race flyer out yet for these events?

There were paper flyers distributed at our D4 meeting in December, but I am unaware of any on the net yet.

Here is the contact information to the Illini Powerboaters (Joliet, IL race) to be held at the Chicagoland International Speedway in 2004.

The Valley R/C in club in Oshkosh, WI typically does not do a flyer. You can contact Mark Dauer. I dont have his info at my fingertips, but I will post once I get home.

Unoffically, I believe that both the Valley and Illini clubs will be having a 95db limit at their races. Other than that, they both run IMPBA rules, with an audio clock exception.

Oshkosh is a very laid back race at a very nice park. Illini is at at this new venue and offer traveling trophies in 3.5 tunnel, 7.5 tunnel and 1/8 scale.

Either site is easy to get to.
