randy your right the lynx is a super boat and a proven winner. but if you think back at how long the lynx has been availble for sale. theyve been around for years. i know they didnt get to the top overnight and you take into consideration how long ive had these boat molds. (about 10 months or so) as more people purchase boats and race them. and as i learn how to make a already great boat better. then the win column will ultimately have more cobras in them. see you in the future at the finish line Dan Hutchinson

DAN COULD IT BE THAT ALL THE TOP BOATS HAVENT BEEN AT THE RACES THAT WOULD BE A GOOD REASON FOR YOUR LUCK JUST A LITTLE DIG

wow.

said what I said, pulled it.best of luck in the future.

whoa hold up randy !! im sorry !! i didnt mean any harm nor any insults . i think i worded it wrong. i never made any remark about your boat being ugly. and i wasnt taking jabs at drake either. if ron wants to make only white boats fine so be it. they are a superior design. i make cool colors and designs in an average boat, that i think some people might want. i know when i buy something new that the color is a big deal to me thats all !!!

DAN I REALY WOULD LIKE TO SEE AN ORANGE HULL WITH THE BAND ON COWL THAT WAY IT COULD BE USED AS A REPLACEMENT BOUY ON TURN 1 THRU 6 SO WE CAN GO AROUND IT BET THIS WILL STIR THE POT ALL IN FUN

Be nice everyone...

Im just glad someone is manufacturing boats, its nice to be able to have a choice.

Premo, I dialed your number by accident today man, hope I didnt bother ya. Got your message though.

Dan,

Everyone has now and then a momentary lapse.... I had mine. Raced with ya since Reagan was President, and I have much respect for you.

On the other side, the hull spent 5-7 years in development before it was ever released for production. Many changes were made, and actually when the boat was sent to Ron, it was right there at the top from day 1. You have a first generation design that performs well, and changes will make it better without a doubt. But theres more to it than the boat. My setup is 5 years with the SAME HULL, not the same design, but the boat itself.

Dan, you constantly change, change, change, and you will always search without setup documentation. My notebook can tell you every aspect of setup, and measurment of motor, down to thousandths of a inch.

I don't search for the setup, all I do is drive it. Pressure to make it work is off, it falls on my preventive maintenance and luck.

Otto taught me that. Get it working, and learn to drive it.Change things on test day, not race day.

see ya at the finish line...

i see you like the rubberband on the cowling front. thats a custom hold down for a cowling chin thats not glued yet. but if you would like one ill sell you one for $500.00 there on special. hey you can even get them in colors. it might even make your boats run better, you never know. oh thats right i heard your not racing any more. nevermind !!! HA, HA, HA, Dan

 your too funny dan WOW hey us three will get together at the fall nats and drink and eat and have fun talking crap back and forth to each

James,

well said mate, you hit the nail right on the head !!!!

Keep in mind us poor gents downunder, it's hard enough to get the different hulls now, imagine if we only had one or 2 hulls to choose from. We need more guys like this in this hobby, ie willing to try different stuff and putting it out there for people to choose. Well done!!!

Gino

PS for what it's worth I own a Lynx (or 2) back from when Carl was making them
