Here are some images of Rod Hendrick's just completed new Cougar 45. It is powered by a CMB RS 45. Construction is Carbon Skin and Klegicel Sides and Sponsons. Finished weight COMPLETE is 4lb 12oz. Can't wait to get this wet. Our club is waiting for the final stages for our new pond at which time we will get both the new 21 and 45 Cougars wet. Target for both boats and my new 67 Cougar is the Charleston Fall Nationals. 67 is now in the paint shop, so we are on target with all the new Cougars.

Rod did an AWESOME job building his new boat. I am envious of the quality in his build.

Man it looks very, very nice, cool as hell.

Got it in the water last evening and was super impressed with it.

Had the normal little things to sort out, but it is going to be a great platform.

How did the testing go on this? Will these be made available?
Testing went VERY well. Had some trouble with my 20 mono. Had to cut an access panel in the front deck so that I can get to the tank and plumbing.

As for the Cougar, maybe someday. If I do it, I will have someone else build the kits as I have "been there and done that". Don't want any more boat manufacturing....

REALLY anxious to see how Rod Hendricks new Cougar GAs Hydro and new 21 Cougar go at the Winternats. Hasn't even got them painted, so it will be a "thrash" to get them ready.
