Last night I was looking around for an ant mount for my airboat since I robbed the one that I had on there for another boat. I couldn’t find anything so I started looking around for something to make a mount out of. I usually use a 1/4 20 nylon bolt and just drill it out down the center.
Anyway I came across these fender washers that I sometimes use for water lines that exist out the side of a hull, and they are great for that by the way. Anyway, I took a 10/24 die and threaded it and put it on the radio box lid with a washer and a nut. I think it looks great, and it was cheep and easy! They are made out of aluminum so they can also be anodized if you like!
