From a chat board browser’s view ….

Stretching the truth to outright lies. There are some very unscrupulous people trying to pass off their stuff as world class competition designs.

Big pet peeve when I see hype on a website about how great something they are trying to sell you is.

E-bay adds are famous for this. Makes no difference if you are an individual, or a business.

From a designer/ manufacturer/ dealer standpoint.....

Just who is really a full time business, and who is simply a part time guy looking to pay for his own hobby.

The Internet is famous for making Sunday afternoon hackers look like world class designers.

FYI There are only about 7-8 full time model boat manufacturers in North America.

If your designs are not distributed through one of the big names, you are a small fish trying to look big!

From a retail sellers perspective….

“ I am going to buy one of those someday”

If I had a dollar for everyone that called or e-mailed that said they were going to buy something, I would never have to work again. Truth is, most of the stuff you want, you will never buy, so please don’t waste other people’s valuable time telling us you will.

In general...

The words "Coming Soon" What does Coming soon mean? A week? A month? 5 years?

If you don't have it, don't advertise it!

Fast and Huge are two terms I see in Ebay adds. I guess that if I was going backwards, everything would look fast. If I were an ant, everything would look huge.

the engine companies specs are exact and they would never bluff them.

hey pennywizz remember this discusion

as seen on Ebay 20 o/b tunnel ad.....

"it has been clocked at over 70 mph......."
