As a rule of thumb I have always used roughly 33% on most nitro mono, but its been so long since I have done anything other than a Seaducer, I cant remember if I checked with fuel in the boat or dry ?

Andy

I always do it less fuel knowing I like to start a race a little heavy in the front and right on for the last of the race when you need the right balance the most. I also found that 29 to 31 percent works best for my hulls that have trim tabs. I use 32 to 34 percent for hulls with no trim tabs. Just before I stopped running nitro and went to gas I was moving the mtr forward and put the fuel tank between the engine and radio box just behind the CG. That worked really well. As the fuel emptied the cg moved forward a tiny bit.

Thanks for the input John and Rick. I'm going to put a CMB 90 in a gas mono I have had for a while, so there really is no good numbers for the application and its an open slate with plenty o room for layout ideas.

Andy what type of CMB 90 do you have ? I might hook you up for a small fee for 2 CMB Evo 2000 90 and 100 I'm going to upgrade the engines on Wiley's F mono ;-) so I really don't have a need for them.

All they need is the bearings changed and I have the bearings included with both motors.

Julian

PS; no fuel as Mr. Finch stated
