Been working on this Rigger since November and really happy now that its complete. This is my first CMD Rigger and must say I'm blown away with the quality of craftsmenship from Andy Brown's team. Have a few friends that made this build possible so here's a list of what's in her and the folks that made it possible. I thank you all

Alfred Lanza for helping me on the build

Matthew Waldron for the power plants, 2 M&D full mod 26's

Ken Larsen for helping me with the hardware

D9 Pipes from the master Don Shanks

Props from: Prop Works West, Peter Duggan CoCr and G-Force Hydros. Awesome work from all

Kevin Sheren for sellling me the kit

Conner Dillard for allowing me to use his shop to paint it

Daniel Place for added hardware support

and my Local Hobby Shop: J&M Hobbies in San Carlos (been going there since I was 10)

Maiden voyage is this weekend, looking forward to running her. Enjoy...

Thanks for comments Beau and Chas. I have many hours into this one, many nights in the garage doing something while listening to Johnny Cash. I didn't work on it until my daughter went to sleep so I wasn't cutting into family time. Wife totally supports my hobby which is a blessing. I'll see if I can get someone to take a video of it running so I can post on this thread.

NICE! What's the outside tub width on these boats? Looks like they did a good job keeping the tub as narrow as possible.

very stealthy will be hard to see on the water sitting still.

Need to put some color on it.

Very nice boat!!!!

David

Thanks for the kind words gents. Yep, tub is just a bit over 8". SR71 is definitely the theme I was going after. I first painted the cowl with flat clear, but I think it looked way better glossy so I recleared it. Was going to paint entire boat but after seeing the wood work, no way am I covering that. Boat was sealed with MAS Epoxy first than cleared with PPG DCU 2042. Paint for cowl is a graphite black which gives it the illusion of being a metallic but isn't, goes well with the carbon fiber.
