Hi guys, just a quick question for you all. I've managed to pick up (at a great price!) two CMB 90 Evos new in box and never run, the question I have is this (for the experienced CMB owners out there)...........What are the approximate needle settings for breaking this beasty in? (it's a twin needle carb with a 3rd ch remote mixture control on the carb). At present I'm at a bit of a loss as to the settings of this engine.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, many thanks in advance

Johno........... ;)

Main needle (=3d ch) screw out till thick part of needle matches the housing.

Idle needle screw out about a matchstick (2,5mm)

It's adviseble when you found the right idle setting , fill the gap between the needle and the horn , with a teflon spacer.

Great motors, just be carefull of a few things, the cranks will come apart if you rev them hard so keep a eye on them, also there is a lot of work to be done on the back end and then they will really scream, fit a 100 piston and liner and hang on!!!

also if you pull out a cir clip throw it away and replace it with a new one they have a habit of jumpin out.
