Will a .67 piston /sleeve fit into a .80 block?
I gave Nails a 67 CMB in a 80 case, just the wall thickness of the sleeve changes for the 80........Will a .67 piston /sleeve fit into a .80 block?
Bingo, give that man a cigar !!!!Corey,
The stroke is the same on the 67 and the 80. The crank and the rod are the same. The piston is bigger which thins the walls of the sleeve. The outside diameter of the sleeve is the same for both.
If it's for a scale you may want to have the CD at the race or the scale director check the bore on the sleeve to avoid any issues before racing. It's only (6) screw to avoid any issue.
