I have a few 27 ALPHA's left that I am going to offer for $600.00 each. This is almost 40% of the original price. These motors have been rebuilt with the 2016 crank/rod assemblies. I am still running this version in my hydro and my mono and I think many have seen them run. Great chance to try these motors at a great price. If interested, email me at [email protected] or call 317-462-9978.

Thanks,

Stu Barr

Ran my new CMB Alpha motor last night in my brand new outrigger and **** its powerful.

that thing looks sweet! what size prop are you running?

Anyone have any ideas on what prop to use on a gas scale 7325? I doubt the 2721 would work on a boat as heavy as what I'm building.

BTW, Stu, payment went out Saturday

mark,

I'm interested in your 7325 gas scale. beautiful boat.

that Alpha 27 should be a great engine for that hull.

ML framing kit ?

dimensions ?

full cowl Madison scheme ?

good luck

Actually, Dave, the Alpha 27 is the only engine that will fit without hogging out the engine bay. As for your questions:

It's actually scratch built using redrawn Newton plans with design changes made from measurements taken from the actual boat, stating with a 4.5" wide engine bay

It's 51.75" long, approximately 24" wide with a 12" tunnel

To "hide" the spark plug and engine, as much as possible anyway, I'm doing the boat as the 1978 Miss Madison with the Turbo Allison. I'm trying to avoid using a deep belly pan but, until I receive the engine, I won't know for sure if I'll need one or not

I'll post some build pictures in a build thread later

mark,

thank you for the detailed reply.

that rear exhaust Alpha engine looks perfect for a gas scale.

you've done a lot of research and technical work scratch building that boat.

and that turbo Allison is a project in itself. yes it will definitely hide that gas engine.

are you using one of those 3D printed engine kits ?

they are excellent quality with beautiful detail.

the Madison is a great paint scheme for that boat.
