CMB 21 LONGSTROKE INBOARD

I HAVE THE 21 INBOARD AND I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MOTOR.

1= WHAT IS A GOOD PIPE LENGHT AND WHERE DO YOU MEASURE FROM.

2= IS THERE ANYBODY THAT CAN MAKE OR MOD THE CONNECTING ROD SO IT WILL BE BUSHED ON BOTH ENDS.

3= AND WHAT KIND OF MODS CAN BE DONE TO THE MOTOR TO GET MORE SPEED OUT OF IT.

Aurbin,

Once the rod is bushed, the CMB is a great engine..

I am running mine in a roadrunner hydro with the OPS 3280 pipe 3.5 inches.

Make sure to have someone set the head clearance for you.. Mine came from the factory at .023.. Way too high.. Set it as low as .006.. Mine is at .009..

The CMB is a torque motor and will turn some bigger props..
