Hi guy's i have a Climate Blizzard Rigger that has been laying around for a awhile.Ready to start building it but im not sure about the Brushless motor, esc and lipo to use ? I hear the super vee step up is being used in small riggers ?

If so what lipos's do i use on this setup ? Would like to hit mid 50s Help would be appreciated THANKS !

Im sure some folks here with more info on the P-spec riggers will dial in...

Do a search on here for Raptor P-spec...

There a a few cheap motors that will get you to that 50mph mark.

4s 5000mAh lipo will be all thats needed. You can get some super 40c 5000s or 35c 5500s just depends on the budjet. Some folks on here are having great success with Zippy cells. But its up to personal choice with cells i guess.

I use Zippy cells on my 3d planes and they work great!!! Just not looking to spend tons of money on a brushless setup.

The blizzard is a little small but I've seen them run with the spec systems. I'd go with the UL-1 motor and ESC. A little more RPM and a little smaller prop. That hull is little tight so get the smallest od cooling jacket you can (OSE or Kintec Racing). I'm running 4S Neu 4100xpi cells, cheap and reliable. H-4/42x66 grimracer prop is good all around for that combo. My spec boat has been radared at 63 with that power combo and a heavily modded H-4.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for info ! I see towerHobbies sells the motor and esc from the UL-1 for 150 bucks :)
