CELINA SUMMER CHALLENGE XX

the driftwood model boat club would like to announce the premeir edition of the celina summer challenge xx r/c boat race is filling fast.

20 classes are being offered with 4 rounds to be run (weather / time permitting.)

deadline is may 16th or when the 140 boat / 80 contestant limit is met.

friday will be controlled open water from approximatly noon until 5:30 pm

at 6:00pm a nite of food , fun , and war stories . a catered meal ($8.00 /pre-pay)consisting of large smoked pork chops, side dishes and more. proceeds are to hospice of mercer county. everyone wewlcome.

saturday and sunday racing begins at 8:00am .

this is our 20th race at celina and we hope its the best yet.

we are woking toward a live internet broadcast on metimerc.

Dan we'll give you the money on the 15th.. Joe is going to call you this week... The bathrooms are finished.. get ready guys you lost some good spots were they placed the bathrooms.. it to the right of the drives stand and 30 feet back.. So as it looks most of you have to setup on the other side of the stand.. I'll get pics of it posted tomarrow... They shouldve set it back to the drive way.
