I've got a JAE21 with a NR t21-7m and read in the for sale topic an add from Frank Orlic for a carb for this engine. I then remembered I bought some years ago a D&J carb for my MAC21 outboard but never tried it. This was back then the carb to have for a NR outboard. I looked around on the internet but can't find any specs on it.

Which one is better, leave the stock carb on or the D&J carb? Other option (money permitting) is a .350 carb from Frank.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with a stock nova carb,if you remove the low speed needle and turn the fuel inlet.they run fine and know for a fact will run 80 mph

Run the D&J. While I often ran the Nova carb, because that's what I had, the D&J put out the most power with great throttle response. Ran 99 mph with a D&J on an RB .21 back in 1998.

Why do you think Walk wants to buy it? He knows something! :)
