Mine came with a 257 but I got it modded with only Dyno time on it. Most of the kits fit most of the carbs fortunately. The only problem that I had at one time was going through diaphragms until I switched to Coleman fuel.

Well, I just switched to coleman fuel. With The problems im having people tell me it is likely the diaphragm as you said. Im told I can get one at my local still dealer. Thanks for the info.

Most of the Marine RCMK's came with 929's and all of them if they came from Korea supplied with the carb.

Park was out of 929's for a while and shipped a bunch without carbs and those were distributor equipped with 257's.

The inlet metering diaphragm is under the four screw cover and they can be found at any small engine repair shop,

There are more than one diaphragm is a Walbro. You have the fuel pump diaphragm/flappers under the one screw cover also.

That is where it gets interesting because no kit you buy is going to have exactly the same fuel pump diaphragm/flapper section that is the same as the one the carb originally came with.

Most people use the blue membrane from the kits but the better choice is stacking the black flapper and the beige diaphragm and stack them to create what was a single black piece in the carb originally.

Its the ethanol added to gas that effects this Wes,look for gas pumps with 0 added! Your problems with the carb will go away after you rebuild the carb, what is the symptoms you are having?

The X'ed out ones are not used in our WT's.

For the pump section you have two choices if you have this kit. One is just use the blue #5 on the carb with the gasket #2 over it then the cover.

But what you may not realize is you have another better choice. That is laying the black #4 flapper down on the body then put the beige #3 over it to get your fuel pump diaphram then top it with the #2 gasket and then the cover. The #4 and #3 together make up what was one beige originally in the carb.

On the other side with the four screws always put down your #1 gasket then the #6 needle metering diaphragm then the cover.
