Can swing a bigger prop on a aqua stock .18

Will a stock aqua 18 swing a 442 prop better then a super tiger .18 , any thoughys snd info.

A m440 and 442 is what i run on my sport 20,I dont know if either one will run that prop.im shure some one knows for shure

My Girlfriends Stock ST Vegas swings a X637 ( 37mm dia x 59.2 mm) 3/16" shaft ,and works well.

The auqa is the same motor as the ST ???

James, A stock AQ motor does have a little more torque than a Super tiger but neither one will pull a 42 mm prop with good results.You may be able to spin it but you may not get the rpm. As Tim stated above a 637 is about the limit for these motors. Larger dia. props aren't always the answer, spinning a prop faster is the key. If you can spin a smaller prop that has been pitched up at good rpm you will normally get better results.

I run a 1440 back cut and pitched up a bit with a nova .12

I would guess your .18 would pull atleast the same thing if not maybe even more.

Maybe h2 or h4 would work.... gotta check a prop chart make sure they arent to big.

Paul, I wouldnt be surprised if that Nova 12 pulled more prop then these two particular .18's
