BZM engines are available in 26cc, 27cc, 28.5cc and 30.5cc. BZM engines have been using a billet crankcase. Now, these same engines are also available with a cast crankcase. The billet crankcase is water cooled as well as the head is water cooled. The cast crankcase is only water cooled at the head.

We are currently testing the new cast crankcase engines here in the USA. Notice in the photos that the cast crankcase is a slightly narrower design and is also a bit lighter.

Both the billet and cast crankcase engines are available with pull start or belt start. Both are available with a choice of carburetors.

All sizes of the billet crankcase engines are currently in stock with either pull start or belt start. Once we have completed testing the cast crankcase engines, they will be available in 26cc andBZM Engines 002.JPGBZM Engines 003.JPG 30.5cc.

Price for any of the engines is $850.00 delivered in the USA. A pipe and muffler are available for $150.00 delivered in the USA.

Those are some beautiful motors. Are they lower profile than CMB. Do they weigh less than CMB. They do have strong low end with less rpm than CMB. Is this right. Any info on specs would be appreciated. Thanks

I really can not comment on the CMB gas engines. I don't know much about the CMB gas engines.

I'm wondering if it will fit in a rigger tub with the reed assembly where it is? Can you post a pic of the pipe?

It will not directly drop in. I had to cut the side of my rigger to get it to fit. I reinforce it with a carbon fiber sheet.

Which one. Can use collet or square drive ?
These engines can take drive line thrust like a Zenoah so a round collets or square drive can be used.

I have ran both CMB & BZM gas engines and the BZM will rev as well or better than the CMB Alpha in my experience and is as powerful. The billet case is slightly less weight than the CMB. The new style cast case BZM engine is even lighter.
I thought that might be the case. So how is the performance in comparison to a good zenoah?
As good or better than a 30.5 Piston Port engine.

I forgot to point out that the BZM engines are available with your choice of either a Walbro #644 Carb or a #257 Carb. And, you can choose either a 90 degree header or a 100 degree header..

Al,you sell the engine mount or will other engine mounts work?

Is there a price difference between the billet and cast?
BZM has told me that at this time the price for either design is the same. In the future they will increase the price of the billet case do to higher machining costs. MY inventory is at that lower price and will stay there until I receive engines at different pricing.

Interesting motor. Packs a good punch on top end performance. A guy has one in a 51 microburst I've seen run. Question,...does this motor require special mounts or will my existing zen mounts work?

The mount for the collet side is the same as Zenoah, the flywheel side needs a special mount. BZM sells this mount but is kind of pricey. They are a pretty simple design and can be made if you have a few tools.

Today I received a crate of BZM, cast crankcase engines. I will stock the cast crankcase engines only in 26cc and 30.5cc displacement.

Right now I have both cast crankcase engines and billet engines in stock. The billet engines are available in 26cc, 27cc, 28.5cc and 30.5cc displacement.

The cast crankcase engines are about 2 ounces lighter than the billet crankcase engines.

All engines are priced at $850.00 delivered in the USA. The pipe/muffler for all engines is $150.00 delivered in the USA. Buy an engine from me at a race and save $55.00.

The engines come with your choice of the following:

1. 90 degree or 100 degree header.
2. Pull start or belt start.
3. 644 carb or 257 carb
4. Buy one with no carb and save $25.00.
