I have a Warehouse Hobbies Manta Ray with M5 motor mod. Had it out the other day and seemed to be good but it would die when hitting some wake/small waves or coming out of a corner sharp at full throttle. It didn't do it at first but when the tank started getting to just under half full is when I had the problems. What is the possiblity I have air bubbles causing it to just up and die out?

If it is indeed from air getting into the fuel line whats the best way to stop bubbles from forming? My friends dad a nitro rigger when he was younger and said he had similar issues with his and he said he fixed it by wadding up a bunch of fishing line and throwing it in the bottom of the tank. I just dont want to try this being Im not sure if the line will break down while sitting in the gasoline and end up sucking it into my carb.

I got some response to this on RCUniverse but no one has said if it sounds like a fuel delivery problem or not only thing I can think of is air bubbles.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Don't wad ANYTHING up and put in the tank.

Make sure the tank wasn't built with a CLUNK installed in it, then check to see that the brass hasn't rotated up from the tank bottom. I create a specific bend on the brass (outside) once the bend inside has been verified, then place a small ty- wrap at the base of the two brass tubes to keep them from rotating. The brass pickup tube needs to be in the lowest left rear corner as possible

Get rid of the clunk for one thiong you do not need it then pressure check the tank if no bubbles change the lines on the tank.

other option is to add a 0ne ounce tank as the main feed to the motor which is kept full fron the large tank using pipe pressure. This is the best way to keep air out of the lines that I know of.
